Service Provider:CheckDead is maintained by an individual developer as an auxiliary safety check-in tool.

Important Notice: CheckDead is absolutely NOT a replacement for the following services:

  • Professional medical monitoring devices (e.g., medical alert systems)
  • Emergency rescue services (e.g., 911, 112, 999, etc.)
  • Law enforcement services (e.g., police, fire departments)
  • Certified life safety equipment

Special Note:As a personal project, CheckDead lacks medical device certification, and we do NOT guarantee that emergency assistance will be dispatched or arrive after sending contact notifications. As our brand philosophy states: The greatest kindness of technology is remembering to call for help when you're most vulnerable, but it cannot guarantee that help will always arrive.

2. User Responsibilities

Account Information Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely updates of the following information:

  • Validity of your registered email address
  • Accuracy of emergency contact information
  • Authenticity of personal basic information

Service Usage Conditions

To ensure CheckDead can provide safety services normally, we recommend that you:

  • Keep your device in normal working condition
  • Maintain a stable network connection environment

CheckDead's effectiveness depends on your daily usage habits:

3. Liability Limitations & Disclaimer

CheckDead is provided "as-is." As a personally maintained project, the service may experience temporary interruptions due to personal reasons. We strive to provide stable service but cannot guarantee commercial-grade availability. We are not responsible for any notification failures, delays, or mis-sends in the following circumstances:

  • Service interruptions caused by personal maintainer reasons
